The merger between Lysaght Credit Union and Horizon Bank took place on April 1, 2021. This heralds an exciting new era for both Lysaght Credit Union and Horizon Bank members.

Horizon Credit Union Ltd is trading under the name Horizon Bank but remains a customer-owned banking institution. This means that you will receive the same outstanding personal service which you enjoyed at Lysaght Credit Union.

We are 100% customer-owned and members are our number 1 priority.

Transition Period: April 1 – May 29, 2021


We're here to help members transition over to the new, combined organisation.

During this time we will be working together to ensure the transfer is as smooth as possible.  After the merge of IT systems, scheduled for the 29th May, Lysaght Credit Union members will be able to access Horizon Bank's products & services.

The branch located at 13 Auburn Street Wollongong will continue to operate as usual. Lysaght Credit Union members can use Horizon Bank branches to make cash deposits, cash withdrawals & conduct BPAY transactions during this time.

Lysaght Credit Union members will receive further communications over the coming months.  To enable us to communicate to you effectively, your contact details, such as email address, postal address & mobile phone numbers need to be accurate.
