Online Banking Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register for Online Banking?

For your protection, you can only register for Online Banking in one of our branches (find your closest one here) or by calling us, find your local branch number and opening hours here

How do I reset my Online Banking password?

If you have your card number and have SMS One Time Password enabled on your account, resetting your online banking password is simple. All you need to do is click the Forgotten Password link on the online banking login page and follow the prompts – anytime, anywhere.

Never choose a password that could be easily attributed to you (such as your birthday, favourite colour, or sports team).

If you don’t have SMS one time password enabled or your card number handy, you’ll need to call us on 1300 366 565 to change your password.

Where can I find my BSB and Account Number?

To find your BSB and Account Numbers when logged into Online Banking, navigate to the top menu and select “Accounts” > “BSB Number Information”. This page will display a full listing of all your accounts, including the BSB and External 9 digit Account Numbers.

What is my transfer limit?

Limits for PayID & Osko® payments and all other external transfers and BPAY payments will be advised to you at the time of application.

Customers may request temporary limit increases for one-off larger transactions, and permanent increases can be issued provided the member has registered for SMS One Time Password (a one-off password is sent to your mobile phone via SMS. This needs to be entered to authorise the transaction).

Customers may also request lower, or even zero transfer limits if they do not have a need to transfer funds via online banking. If you have previously requested zero limits, these will be adjusted accordingly.

Please contact Horizon to request transfer limit changes.

What is a SMS One Time Password

Certain online transactions or permanent account changes will now require a ‘One Time Password’ to verify it’s actually you making the purchase or change. When requested, we will send a six digit numeric code to your mobile number for you to enter into the provided field.

The system will then verify your identity using this code and allow you to proceed with the purchase or account modification.
