Things to know about daily transaction limits

Daily limits are now applied to each Horizon Bank member number that you use to make payments in Online Banking or the Horizon Bank App.

These limits apply when you make the following payment types within Australia from a personal account (not including transfers between your Horizon Bank accounts).

  • Payments made to a BSB and account number including OSKO and standard transfers
  • Payments made to a PayID (including mobile number, email address or ABN)
  • Payments made via BPAY

Daily limits can be set per transaction type including external transfer, NPP (OSKO) and BPAY up to a maximum of $10,000. International transfer limits can be reduced to $0 or set to the standard limit. You will need to contact us for a higher international transfer limit.

Payment types without daily transaction limits

The daily transaction limits on a membership number will not apply to the following payments and transfers within Australia.

  • Transfers between your own Horizon Bank accounts
  • Direct Debits and PayTo payments
  • Payments and transactions using 'non-digital' channels:
    • In branch
    • Using a Horizon Bank Visa card at an ATM or Eftpos terminal
